Town of Westlake Announcements This is the Announcements RSS feed for the Town of Westlake http://www.westlake-tx.org Oil & Gas Drilling Regulations Status Since last spring, Town staff has been researching the methods used in area cities to regulate oil and gas well drilling within their communities. Town staff has also received input from oil and gas industry professionals regarding the municipal drilling regulations they operate under in various communities. Staff presented a proposed oil and gas drilling ordinance framework to the Town Council at a public information meeting held on November 11th. This meeting also provided an opportunity to receive input from the Westlake community.
