Westlake Academy is governed by a President and a five-member Board of Trustees. Each of the members is elected for a two-year term, and members also serve as members of the Westlake Town Council.
The Board of Trustees establishes school policy, approves the Academy's annual operating budget, and serves as the legislative body of the Academy.
The Board typically holds its regular meetings on the first Monday of each month. Additionally, special called meetings and workshops may be held as necessary and will be posted accordingly. These meetings begin at 6 p.m. in the Westlake Town Hall, 3 Village Circle, Council Chambers located on the second level-interior hall.
